Cassandra Mack, MSW is the founder and Chief Visionary Officer of Strategies for Empowered Living Inc., a New York based training and coaching company designed to help people succeed and grow.

Cassandra's mission is to motivate and inspire people to rise, succeed and shine both, personally and professionally. Cassandra’s core areas of competency are: personal development, professional development and relationship development. Cassandra achieves her mission in 5 ways. By:

  1. Working with health and human service organizations to help their employees develop professional helping skills that leave their clients feeling empowered to advocate on their own behalf, informed to access important resources and motivated to change their lives for the better;
  2. Creating publications and products that inspire success and growth;
  3. Speaking at workshops and conferences;   
  4. Developing coaching programs that help people reach their goals in a more targeted and effective way; 
  5. And, by unapologetically helping people get real about their stress, mess and drama so that they can begin to acknowledge the things in their lives that create roadblocks to their success.

Cassandra wears many hats. She is a business owner, a highly sought after speaker, nationally respected consultant, a life empowerment coach, trained social worker, an educator and author. Cassandra is the voice of counsel to thousands around the world through her blogs, columns, radio appearances and books. Affectionately donned, The First Lady of Urban Self-Help, Cassandra Mack, bridges the practical with the clinical in order to provide real solutions for real people dealing with real life issues.

Cassandra received her BA from Brooklyn College in Speech with a minor in Education and her Master’s degree in Social Work from The Hunter College School of Social Work.
