Cassandra Mack is on a mission. A mission to provide help, hope and positive encouragement to incarcerated men and women who in many instances have given up all hope. Hopelessness often leads to anti-social behavior and self-destructive choices. Through Cassandra Mack's Hope Through Reading Project for Incarerated Women Cassandra provides selected copies of her books to women's correctional facilities care of the prison librarian. By providing prisoners with tools that feed their minds and encourage them to take positive charge of their lives, Cassandra is able to make a difference and touch the lives of broken women who need help, hope and healing.
