Proposal Writing
We know that every client has different needs. Therefore, we offer three different proposal option packages. We also believe in upfront pricing so that there are no unanticipated fees on the back end.
Proposal Option Package #1. (Full Proposal Writing)
This package includes full proposal writing services, with all the elements of a full standard proposal including research, data collection and technical writing from concept to implementation. This proposal will be written so that the client can do the following: 1.) Seek funding 2.) Clearly describe the proposed program, service or cause 3.) Generate support and linkages from charitable/nonprofit organizations that already service the client’s target market.
**Fee Range: $5,000 – $6,500 (Once we know exactly what the project entails, we quote you an exact dollar fee before writing up the contract)
How This Package Works
- We will meet with you at a mutually convenient time and location during traditional business hours to find out about your needs, resources, project goals, anticipated timeline and overall objectives.
- We will send you a contract detailing the scope of the project and the services that we will provide under this package. Upon signing of the contract we require 50% deposit. We will begin working on the proposal after we receive your deposit.
- We will provide you with additional questions regarding your company and the project in order to begin the first draft. (The more detailed the information you give us, the better your proposal) Then, we send you the first draft of the proposal for your review.
- You will get up to three revisions. The third revision is the final proposal. All revisions will be based on your written feedback from each draft.
- The timeline to complete the proposal for Package #1 is six weeks from the signing of the contract, provided we get all feedback and requested information within 24 to 48 hours. If rush service is needed (three weeks after the signing of the contract) add a 30% surcharge to the fee.
Proposal Option Package #2. (Proposal Refinement and Technical Editing)
In this package, we work from your full proposal draft to refine the proposal until you have a working outline of your cause or project mapped out on paper in standard proposal format. In this package you provide us with a full proposal of your project in one document and we work with you to refine it.
**Fee Range: $2,500 - $3,000 (Once we know exactly what the project entails, we quote you an exact dollar fee before writing up the contract)
How This Package Works
- You will send us your full, complete proposal for review via USPS mail. We quote you an exact fee based on the amount of work required. (The fee will range from the fee range noted in package #2)
- We will set up a free 15-minute telephone conference with you at a mutually convenient time during traditional business hours to find out about your needs, resources, project goals, anticipated timeline and overall objectives.
- We will e-mail you to set up additional telephone conferences at a mutually convenient time if we need additional information.
- We will send you a contract detailing the scope of the project and the services that we will provide under this package. Upon signing of the contract we require 50% deposit. At this time we will begin working on your project.
- We will send you the first edited version of your draft. After the first draft you get one more edit. The second edit will be the final proposal.
- The timeline to complete the proposal for Package #2 is three weeks from the signing of the contract, provided we get all feedback and requested information within 24 to 48 hours. If rush service is needed (two weeks after the signing of the contract) add a 30% surcharge to the quoted fee.
Proposal Option Package #3. (Proposal Consultation)
This package is the most economical choice. This package is for clients who have a clear concept, have mapped it out on paper in standard proposal format and just need a little consultation and feedback via telephone and e-mail to crystallize their concept. In this package, we do not offer any writing, technical editing or revision services just consultation and brainstorming ideas on how to make your proposal clearer and better. This package includes two 60-minute telephone brainstorming sessions.
**Flat Rate: $1,500
How This Package Works
- You will send us your full, complete proposal for review via USPS mail.
- We will set-up a free 10-minute telephone consultation to find out about your project goals and objectives.
- We will send you a contract detailing the scope of the project and the services that we will provide under this package. Upon signing of the contract we require 60% deposit. At this time we will begin working on your project.
- We will contact you to set up the first face-to-face 60-minute brainstorming session at a mutually convenient time and location in NYC.
- We will contact you one week following the first brainstorming session to set-up the final rainstorming session.
